Goin' to Wal-Mart...

Camden front, Easton back

Camden and Easton

Easton front, Camden back.

We finally used our new car seats the other night for a quick trip to Wal-Mart. It was a little bitter sweet to see my growing boys in their big boy car seats for the first time. But they seem to love their new seats. Well I guess they do, since they have only ridden in them one time since I got them last week. The weather has been to nasty and cold to get them out and about much. I think we will be happy when spring gets here for good!

wagon ride

Last night it was nice enough to go on a little wagon ride around the house. All 3 of us just enjoyed being outside for a few minutes!!! The weather was perfect. I can't wait till its prettier out side, then we can load up the wagon and head to the park!

what did you just do??

Last night I was holding and playing with this little man below.

Doesn't he look so sweet and innocent? Most of the time he is. He is in this lovey dovey stage right now and I am LOVING it. He will just crawl up to me or anyone for that matter, and just lay his head on you. Its the sweetest thing ever!! Well back to my story, we were playing, and I had just stood up, up off the floor and bent down to pick him up. Then he went for it. I THOUGHT he was gonna pull the I'm so sweet, let me love on you, move, and lay his head on my shoulder. But he didn't. Do you know what he did instead? He BIT me! I pulled him back and said, What did you just do? Did you just bite me? or did you pinch me, or is their something in my shirt that bit me? Now they have both kind of nibbled here in their when they get excited when they are givin' kisses or what ever. But no sir ree, this was a BITE!
PROOF!!!!
lil stinker! I was to much in shock to do anything. All I could do once I figured out what he did was say, "No Sir, that is not nice." in my, I am NOT playin around voice. Lordy Lou, I hope my kids don't turn in to me and my sister, or they will both be black and blue from all the bit marks like we were! I think I am at the very beginnings of payin' for my raisin'!!!

Big Boy Car seats!

Remember this post? Well the time had come to purchase the car seats. I had researched the one I had wanted down to the tee. So last night I went to Texarkana, to Target, to purchase the "big boy car seats!" I walked in the store, full of confidence that I would walk straight over and pull car seat boxes out from under the models that sit on the shelves, walk up to the register and pay for my items and then I would be headed home. Sounds easy enough right? Well it wasn't. First of let me just say, I love Target. They always have what I need for pretty reasonable prices. But not this time. They failed me big time. Not only did they NOT have the car seat that I wanted, they only had one of my second choice as well. And the other ones they did have, it looked to be only one of each one on the shelf as well. I was pretty mad at this point. So I asked a target person to help me out. So she walked her little teenage boppy self over with her trusty scanner. She scanned the items to "make sure they didn't have any more in the back." And whatta ya know. Nothing in the back. Umm hello? Seriously? Do you people not realize that SOMETIMES, people have more than ONE baby at a time. They are called TWINS, or triplets or quads. Does Target not get this?? Or any other store for this matter, buts that's a different soapbox. Anyway, I asked her to go look in the back, just to see if they happened to have one more of my second choice in the back. You would have thought I had ask her to go clean the toilets or something. Lordy Lou! I really wanted to say at this point, I am fixing to spend close to $500 freakin dollars with you people, and you seriously don't give a rats big toe. Get your skinny little teenage butt back their and look for my other car seat!!!!! But I didn't. I held my tongue and smiled. She agreed to go look in the back. So literally after waiting for 15minutes, what do you know?? Here she came with another car seat!! YAY!!!! I then followed her up to the front, paid my 2 car seats and promptly left. I was still so aggravated about the whole situation, that I decided a little more retail therapy was in order, so I drove on over to Old Navy and purchased a few things! Whewww that made it all better!!! HA! So with out further ado, here are a few pictures of the new big boy car seats.

The Evenflo Symphony 65!

I had a model waiting up for me when I got home!!

This car seat wasn't on the original post that I had done on car seats. But I had read great reviews on it and really like it when I got to the store, and like it even better, when I found out that my first choice was out of stock. And for you people out their that are shaking your heads and saying, "you should have ordered it off the Internet!" Nope I couldn't. Because technically Easton had out grown his to the point I couldn't even buckle it anymore, so I needed to get them ASAP. And besides, who doesn't like going shopping?? HA!!

cards, cookies and Kinsler

Our Saturday was pretty uneventful, but we did do a few things....

After the boys nap on Saturday, I decided they could decorate their Valentines Day cards for everyone. I had to help quite a bit, but they chewed on them and gave them kisses, and gave each of the cards lots of "character!!"

how sweet!!

After that, they ate a really good lunch, so for dessert, I gave them an early Valentine treat. I had made homemade cookies with frosting for Robby, and I have them one. They were on CLOUD 9!!

Easton

My sweet little nephew came to visit on Saturday afternoon, and stayed a few hours while his momma and daddy went on a date! He was the BEST baby, and never shed a tear. (not even when Camden gave him a little love tap on his forehead!!ooopps!!) We had a great time and I can't wait to keep him again!

Mr. Kinsler Slade...

Camden checkin' him out...

Camden: "well hello there momma! I know youve told me 500 bajillon times to leave him alone, but I couldn't help my self, and just had to check on him one last time!"
Me:"that's it, Mister! Your going in the jumperoo!!"
Lordy lou! I think if Camden could have talked, that's seriously how the conversation would have went. I did finally had to put Camden in the jumperoo, just so Kinz could rest in peace!!

Then Easton found him... He had been playing by him self for a while...I just decided to watch him, and see how he would interact with Kinsler...

Yeah, umm I had intervene pretty quickly! Easton thought Kinsler needed to go really fast in the swing! HA!!!

This was after Camden and Eastons bath. Even though it doesn't look like, they are some drooling machines! This was the best I could get with all 3 of them....

Kinsler sleeping away! He sooo sweet!!!
Robby and I had talked about what to get the boys for Valentines Day. We know they are only 10 months old, but wanted to get them a little something. I suggested a balloon. All kids like balloons, right?!?! So Robby said he would pick up a couple. This is what he came home with!! OH MY!!!

To save you some time.. that's 16 balloons.. Why 16? I have no clue! HA!!!

I picked them up these cute little monkeys and caterpillars!
All in all we had a GREAT Saturday!!

SNOW!!!

On my way home from work last night, I stopped and took these pictures. This is a country road between my work and my house, and was so pretty that I had to get a couple of pictures of it.

Yes, I stopped my car and got out to take these! Ha!

This was my front yard at about 5pm last night.

Robby wouldn't let me take the boys out in the snow, so I brought the snow into them!! They played with till their little fingers got cold, and then they were done! So sweet!!!

Easton just ate it!

Cam checking it out

Yum!

hmmm.. My juice is better! Ha!

After the boys experience their first snow, Robby and I went out and played in it. The boys were safe and sound in their jump a roos and exersaucer sitting in front of the window watching us! I think they had more fun watching us playin around in it!

Robby pelting me with a snowball... Don't worry I got him back!!
Here are the flag poles here at work this morning....

So pretty!!!

Only in Texas!!!

I am so glad that it snowed! I wish I were a kid again, so that I could have a "snow" day!!! I can't wait for when the boys are older and we get to get out and play in it!!

Im all caught up!!!

and its still snowing!!! YAY!!!

If you want to catch up on my week, just scroll down through my previous posts!

My heart broke a little I think!!!

I guess it was Tuesday night, I didnt get home till really late. My mom had stayed with the boys, while Robby and I went to Visitation for my Paw-Paw. So I hadnt really spent any time with the boys, and I think Camden realized that! He woke up crying and only wanted his Daddy! It broke my heart that he didn't want me to snuggle him. Of course Robby thought this was the greatest thing since sliced bread and ate it up!!! Lil Stinker!

Flowers...

I got these pretty flowers this week. Robby sent them to me. They were "thinking of you" flowers. But the real reason he was thinking of me wasn't under the best of circumstances. You see, my Paw-Paw passed away about 1:00am on Monday morning. It was completely unexpected. He had a few health issues with his heart, but we sure weren't expecting him to be passing away anytime soon. But we are grateful that he is in a better place. He will be greatly missed!!!

Sip and See

Sunday afternoon was Amy and Kinslers, Sip and See. Her church threw her this shower. It was very nice and they had soooo much good food!!!

The boys and I armed with our present...

I turned my head for a second, and my little escape artist had done it again!!
