Day 2 and 3!!

DAY 2

The day started off with all of us at the cabin, slowing getting around and finally showing up at breakfast with the rest of the family around 9:30amish. We were suppose to be their at 8:30am. Yeah, well we didn't, and life goes on! Anyway, we had a wonderful breakfast and then decided to go down to the river.

You have to park in this little seclude open field type place and then haul ALL your stuff down to the river. I have never been so glad to have our wagon as I did on this trip!

Look at us! I mean, come on! We look like the Beverly hillbillies! HA! Brittany and I were bringing up the end of our group and we laughed the entire time!

Camden played in the water too. But someone (ME) had to take pictures of our day, and I had been playing with Camden in the river and so when I got, he had to get out. So anyway, I have no pictures of Camden in the river...Oh well..

We stayed a couple of hours at the river and then packed everything up and headed back to the cabin to get dinner going. Day 2 was by far was the funnest day!

DAY 3

We got up and ate breakfast on the deck and then started to pack everything all back up...

Robby called me in the bedroom and this is what I found. Cam was sacked out on the bed..

While *trying* to pack up the boys blankets, I turned my back for a mili second. By the time I turned back around, Hurricane Easton had already came through...

After we packed everything up, and before we headed home, we decided to go to one of our secret spots down in the park.

I am so glad that we went on this trip. We had such a good time. We all decided that next time we need to stay at least 3 nights, 2 was NOT enough!

2010 Family Camping Trip!

Day 1!!

A couple of months ago, my Meemaw suggested that we take a family camping trip, like we did way back when. (Way back when, I'm talking like 15 years ago!!). Any way we all thought it was GREAT idea, and got so excited!! My twin sister and I and our cousin, Brittany, immediately started looking at cabins to rent, because of our boys. They both have 5 month olds. And my Meemaw and Pappy have a motor home and then my Uncle Russell has a RV. So it was settled, we were going camping!!! We picked the weekend, booked the cabin, and packed for days and made sure everyone had a bed to sleep in since we had lots of folks going,Meemaw and Pappy, Uncle Russell and Kristy, Me and Robby and our 2 boys, Amy, Justin, Kinz and our cousin Brittany, Mike and Creed, and mine and Amy's little sister, Emily, and our Aunt Shannon and her 2 kids, Alyssa and Logan. And then Brittanys Dad, Uncle Sherrill stayed with Meemaw and Uncle Russells boys, our cousins, came up and stayed with Russell . Told ya, LOTS of folks!! (around 20 folks, give or take a couple! HA)

So last weekend, June 11th-13th was the BIG weekend in beautiful Broken Bow, OK. It was a weekend that I am ready to do all over again! We had such a great time.

They had seating like this all around the decks. The cabin was wrapped in decks!



Simply gorgeous. My boys had a total blast running and playing on these decks.



And we can't forget this. One of the "main" reasons we chose the cabin!

My little sister, Emily, found this chair, and fell right asleep, basically as soon as we got their. All of us pretty much lounged in this chair at one point. It was so comfortable. We all wanted to take it home with us!

We finally got settled in and fixed dinner and started to relax....

While my boys were snacking, I took pictures of the arrangements in the cabin. I loved them all, and they were very inspiring. I feel a trip to Hobby Lobby coming on!!!

Everyone joined us at our cabin for dinner on both nights. It was so great to have everyone come to us instead of us hauling the boys and everything, to the park where they were staying..

The master bath, was properly the prettiest room in the house... We all loved it, and took turns taking baths in the whirlpool bath!! But I think 2 little boys loved the bath more than anyone!!

After dinner, came our nightly bath. They didn't know what to think once we turned the jets on!!

I added a few drops of their bubble bath...

and they....

... had a blast!!!

This ends day 1 of our trip.. I will try to get the rest of our weekend up soon!

One day last week, we loaded up and went over to my moms to get the boy's pack and plays for the camping trip that was coming up. While we were their, Camden found a pretty big mud puddle and had the time of his life! He ran back and forth through it several times and then finally just sat down in it. Easton on the other hand didn't want anything to do with it. He just stood back from a far and watch little brother.

Graduation....

My little sister graduated Paul Pewitt High School this past Saturday night. I honestly never thought this day would come. I can remember thinking way back when, "when Emily graduates High School, I am going to be 26 years old!" and then thinking, "Man that's forever away and I am going to be OLD!" HA! Well here we are in the present, and some days I do feel old, but most other days, I feel no different than I did 5 years ago. Other than you know, I have 14 month old twin little boys running around, and instead of getting ready to go out on a Saturday night, I am getting my two little loves ready for bed.

But I am off subject.

I am so proud of my little sister. She has become quite the young lady these last few months, and has done some serious growing up. She has gone from a free spirited young woman, to finding out that she too, is going to be a mommy and graduated high school on the recommend level. She still has a long way to go, but none the less, I am still so proud of her!

14 months old

I can't believe that 2 months have already flown by since their birthday!!! I almost forgot to take this picture!! I just put them down for bed, and about 15 minutes later remembered that they were 14 months! So I ran in their room, put Easton in bed with Camden and took a couple of pics, and this was the best one.

What are yall up too?
-both walking like champs!
-both still have 4 teeth on bottom and 4 teeth on top.
-still loving yalls baths.
-becoming very vocal, saying words such as, mama, dada, bye, bite, hi, and Easton really tries to mimic what you say. (oh dear, I really better watch what I say!!)
-Camden has really came out of his shell here lately, and has become quite the chatterbox.
-Camden also has been biting his brother like crazy. The only thing is I have never caught him in the act, and neither has Robby, we just notice it afterwards.
-They both sleep from about 7pm to 7am.
-Still on 2 naps, first around 9am and 2nd one around 2pm.
-both still great eaters. Camden has taken to spitting everything out on the first bite, but always takes the next bites. Weird!
-Easton has become quite the mommas boy, and I LOVE it...
-Camden still prefers me too, but he always has...
-Camden is still battling pneumonia.. he is on his 3rd round of medicines...
-They both love being outside, we will be really testing that, this coming weekend when we go camping.
-Also this weekend will be our first away from home weekend with the boys. I am so excited, and very nervous at the same time.

A Day Trip...

This past Monday, Memorial Day, Robby, myself and my sister, Amy decided to head to Beavers Bend for the day. We had soooo much fun! And the boys had a blast just hanging out and being out side. We have a family camping trip coming up next weekend, and I know now that they are going LOVE it!
