I am sorry if this grosses you out in any way, I just wanted to keep track of the healing of his poor little nose! :(
This morning(7-28-10)-its defiantly more bruised today than in the past.
I took this picture this morning(7-27-10). Its defiantly going bruise more before it gets better...
Late yesterday afternoon, (7-25-10)after I had giving the boys a bath, Easton had climbed up on the futon and was standing sitting their till it was his turn to get his diaper on. Well when I went toward him, he thought we were playing, and took off running and slipped on the blanket that was on top of the futon.
And you guessed it, landed right on the metal arm rest, banging his nose in the process. I felt so bad! We had been chasing each all around the house before their bath and he was still playing! Poor little guy just cried and cried.(I am pretty sure, he may have fractured his nose, really no way of telling. even his pedi, said not to worry about it.) He finally settled down after he got a chocolate chip cookie!
this was right after it happened.. Poor little guy!
And this about 10pm last night. I went on their to check on him and brother, and he just lifted his little head up and looked at me, so I had to scoop him up and let him snuggle in bed with Robby for a few minutes.
Unfortunately it doesn't look any better, I am sure that its going to take a few days!!!

Please tell me its gets better....
Last night we went to out with just the 2 little boys. J had went to spend the night with Papa, and Robby and I just wanted to get out of the house for a change. So off we went.
Dinner was great. The ending was near and Camden was getting antsy. So I got him out of his highchair and sat him in my lap. He stayed that way for about 30 seconds. He grabbed a fork, and distracted him for oh about 15 more seconds. Robby is finishing up and Easton is getting semi distracted, and antsy as well.
So I am thinking, ok were getting things together and its all going to be fine, we will be out of here in less than 5 minutes TOPS.
That's was until, I give Camden a toy to play with and promptly throws it on the ground. So I let him down to retrieve his toy. This whole time I am thinking, its fixing to get bad, but I am also thinking, well maybe not, maybe we can hurry and get out of here before all, pardon me, hell breaks loose.
Seriously everything I just said, all happened in about 45 seconds.
Camden is still walking towards his toy. Then gets a wild hair and takes off like a cannon. I jump up after him. Catch him in about 6 LONG steps, and scoop him up. He then lets out this blood curdling scream, I swear I looked around because I thought it was someone elses kid, my precious little angel does not act like this.
Well I was in for rude awakening.
Camden proceeded to KEEP screaming. I announced to Robby that it was time to go. I start getting their things. I have twins, so I have A LOT of things. Mean time, Camden is still squealing like a banshee Indian.
And Easton has started standing up in his high chair, and Robby is pretty much spazzing too.
So Cam is on my hip, still squealing, i am literally throwing things in their diaper bag, and Robby is wrestling with Easton getting him out of the highchair and trying to pick their sippy cups off the floor.
I pretty much sprint to the car.
Robby is right behind me.
We agree'd that we have never been so embarrassed in all of our life!!!
Lordy lou, I am hoping this is just a phase.

"J"
I lot of folks didn't know that Robby has an older son, "J". He is 8 years old and for the most part lives 3 hours away with his mom. But for the time being he is staying with us for the summer. I have to say the boys LOVE LOVE LOVE him being here! They have had so much fun with another person in the house, and they think that J is their own personal play pretty! HA. I don't think he minds at all.
all smiles....
pretty smitten with one another!!!
cuties!!!
Its hard to go to work....

Well we did it!!!
NO MORE BOTTLES!!!
Fathers Day weekend, I packed up all the bottles. I haven't posted about until now, because I wanted to be 100% sure that the boys would be 100% on sippy cups. But as of today, they still have NOT had a bottle since Fathers Day. And let me tell you I have been over joyed about not having to wash all those 50 million part to those Dr. Brown bottles!
They have taken to the sippy cups surprising well for me to stop the bottles cold turkey. They had been taking sippy cups here and their for some time, but they also had bottles too. But none the less, they did really good. Well I will say, Easton, maybe had a little bit harder time with it, than Camden did. But all is well now!

First Hair Cut...
This is a bitter sweet post for me. I am not sure why, but the boys seem to be growing up way to fast now these days. First the bottles,(I am going to post about those later!) and now the haircuts! And also because these pictures aren't really of their "first" haircut, but of their "second" hair cut, because someone, who shall remain nameless, cut their hair to get it out of their eyes, and that resulted in Easton looking like a little girl. Don't believe me, take a look...
what did I tell you!
Yes I know, baby, mommy is (was) crying too!!
While you are still laughin', because I know you still are, let me show you Camden's hair, now not near as bad, but still cut none the less...
all his curls, GONE forever!!!!! i know, i know a bit dramatic!
But to go from this..
to this...
is down right heart breaking...
So Saturday morning, July 3rd, I made them an appointment with my hair dresser to get it fixed...
When we got there, Lori was cutting another ladies hair...
so we posed for a couple pictures..
And then it was time!!!
Easton went first, and started off in the chair by himself, but i then joined him, to help Lori out..
the first snip...
Camden went next and i just put him my lap and snapped a couple of pics in the mirror.. This was the best one...
The finished product! Don't they look handsome!!!
They did soo good, they didn't cry or throw a fit. I was sooo proud of them!

15 months!!
Today the boys were 15 months old! It was also the day of their first hair cut!
What are the boys up to now these days???
-totally off the bottle and on to sippy cups!
-eating anything we eat
-still taking 2 naps a day and going to be around 7pm and waking up around 6:30am.
-size 4 diapers
-Easton wears 12-18month clothes and 18months, but I am fixing to have to buy him some 24month stuff.. he is my little chunky monkey!
-Camden wears 12 months, and those still just fit just fine..
-Easton weighs 29lb and 6 oz and 32 1/2 inches long..
-Camden weighs 21lbs and 7oz and 29 inches long..
-Camden is in a bad biting phase. I hope it passes soon, at least for Eastons' sake!ha
-they both still love their bath, they love all water for that matter, most definitely my little water babies!
-love playing out side
-playing more and more "together" and in their room..
-Easton says the following words,-sit, bye bye, mama, dad-dyyy(so cute!), serious-lyyyy(another sooo cute one!), tank you-thank you!, hi, bite-he says this when he is hungry, Gi-Gi(my mom) and his new one last night, baby-don't be gettin ideas folks!! we were talking about my nephew, Kinsler, and we refer to him as "baby Kinsler", and so he has started saying "baby"!
-Camden is more vocal in his own language, but does say a few words such as, dada, hi and bye.
-Easton still has his 4 top teeth and 4 bottom teeth, and last week he cut his first molar tooth on the right side.
-Camden still has his 4 top teeth and 4 bottom teeth, no molars yet, but I bet they are coming!!
-they love to play peek a boo, and do it with each other, its seriously one of the cutest things you will ever witness!
-Camden is defiantly the more dominant twin right now. Easton is more layed back, go with the flow twin. Its their little personalities shinning through, and I bet its going to flip flop too...
But most of all, they 2 of the most loving little boys I know, and I am so proud to be their momma!!!
