The day my life changed for ever. On this day, I found out that I was pregnant. It was a late Sunday night, and I just had a hunch. A feeling that I couldn't explain. So after a HUGE ordeal of getting a test, which is hilarious to me now, I took it. Words could not explain what the feelings that were running through me. Everything from being mad to happy to every feeling in between. And I experienced them in all in about 2.5 seconds! I cried, a lot. I was mad, I was scared, I was NOT ready for this at ALL. I remember laying in bed that night thinking that this could not be happening, that it was a dream, and that surly I would wake up soon. But then as I lay there with my hand on my belly, something funny happened. I got this overwhelming feeling over me. Everything was going to be ok. Yeah, the I was still scared out of mind, and all the feelings were still there, but I knew it was going to be ok.




I have always been a planner. Planned for everything. And I didn't plan this at all! But I did know that i had about 8 months to plan for it! So I got up the next morning, took another test, "just to make sure" and got ready and went to work. I was so scared. I knew Amy would call for our morning chat that we have every single day. So when she called I was bawling, and she knew. She didn't know right away, but pretty much guessed it within just a couple of seconds. She cried, I cried, we all cried. I had to have a game plan. She knew this, I knew this. So next up, Dr.'s Appt. I knew that I didn't not want to go to a Dr. here in MP. To much drama, and I wasn't ready for the world to know just yet. Patient confidently goes out the window in small towns, like MP. So I called a good friend, and told her, and she suggested her Dr. in a neighboring town. Sounded good to me. It would be a full week and half of another before I received the next biggest shock of my life... Thats a whole nother post!!!







But before I end this post, I would like to show off the lights of my life, and the two people that mean more to me than anything in this world...

Four Month Pedi Visit

Friday, August 7, was our 4 month well visit aka shot day!! I dread these days. I think every mother does. Its just horrible to watch your baby have to endure that, and i have to watch it TWICE!! Heaven help me! Some of the best advice I ever received while i was pregnant was is in regards to the dreaded "shot day." I was told to take someone, anyone, with you, and let THEM hold your baby down while the shots are being administered. Then when they are done, you can scoop them up and your not the bad guy, so to speak. Thank you, Mitzi for that advise, it really does work. Both my boys screamed bloody murder while getting their shots, but once they were in mommy's arms, they knew all was right in the world! Well until everything took effect and they got fevers, and their feel bads hurt! They both did so much better this time around.

A few facts about the boys...

Camden Marshall

~12lbs and 2ozs

~23 1/4 inches long

~16in head circumference.

Easton Lee

~15lbs and 2ozs

~25 inches long
~17in head circumference.

Camden is a little bit little for his age. BUT Dr. Conner, said that he is not in the least bit concerned since he was so little (4lbs 4ozs) when he was born, that he would catch up in due time, and on his own time!

Easton is great, healthy as a horse. He (dr. conner) thinks he may be teething!!

They are both doing great, they have reached every single one of there milestones so far. Which is great considering sometimes twins lag behind singletons.

Friday Surprises...

This morning when I got to work, I had this sitting on my desk...

I have the greatest friends ever here at work... A BIG THANK YOU goes to Sherrill McKelvey!! He keeps me on my toes here at work and is hilarious! I love working with him!!!

4 months old!!!

Oh My Goodness!! Where does the time go? Yesterday, my babies were 4 months old!!! I did the monthly photo session with the rabbit, and was hoping and praying for no tears from Easton. How did he do? See for your self...

4 months later...
In case you didn't notice, not a tear was shed!!!!

yum, yum, yum!!!

Last night we all went to my moms to eat dinner. While we were there, I decited to give the boys some rice cereal for the first time. I have been putting a little in there formula for a few days now, but last night, just spur of the moment dicited to feed them some. Oh they did not disapoint! I wish I could have gotten better pics, thier faces were priceless!!! So we used what we had. I just sat them in thier carriers, used an old baby spoon my mom had in her silverware drawer, from Lord knows where, and paper towels instead of a bib, oh and Amy's cell phone for pictures. Cant forget pics!!!
