Corpus Christi

The Sunday after 4th of July, Amy, Emily and I flew to Corpus Christi for a late 16th birthday for Emily. Emily had never flown or been to the ocean, so Amy and I decided to be the wonderful big sisters we are and go in on halves of every thing. Emily's birthday was April 15th, but July 6, was the earliest either of us could go. We only stayed one night, but we had a blast. We went to the aquarium and played in the ocean Sunday when we got their and then that night we went and ate at Joe's Crab Shack on the pier. Needless to say, i have been spoiled by Mardi Gras!!! But we had a great time. And Emily likes to fly, she just doesn't like turbulence!! Check out the pics below!

We wore Emily out with all the flying and the layover in Houston, and then we went straight to the aquarium when we got there. So need less to say, she was a bit tired!! We were waiting to get out room when I took this pic!!!

Madi's Birthday!

Madi turned the big 5 last week!!! She is getting so big! We all went to celebrate at Two Senoritas, where Madi got to where the big sombrero!! I gave her the cutest bikini for her to where only at Aunt Amy and Uncle Justin's house, since she practically lives over there during the summer, and all she has right now is a hand me down Pocahontas one with fringe hanging off of it. Aunt Amy is oh so happy for Madi to have her very cute swim suit at there house now!!

Britt's Wedding!!!

This past weekend, 06-07-08, my cousin, Brittany got married!! I was sooo happy for her! Her new husband, Mike, is wonderful. They were made for each other. They were married at he Elk Meadow Game Ranch in New Boston. It is a very pretty place that over looks a lake. The ceremony was perfect, it rained at the very end, but that was the only flaw in her day. The reception was a blast! That had to be the best reception that I have ever been too! My sis, Amy, and her husband, Justin, and their niece, Madi and I went to eat at my dads restaurant Saturday night, we had a blast, has you can tell by the pics. I love my Madi, and she loves her Wissa! She is such a doll, and a mess at the same time!!

AWWWW!!!!

Paula came threw for me!! she is such a sweet heart. She left a very heartfelt blog on her blog!! i miss her oh so much!! But i know this is something, her leaving and starting her own business and all, that she has wanted to do for a LONG time! I miss seeing her, and getting "advice" from her, which i know that i can still till this very moment, call her up and she would give it to me like she always did! I am very thankful for these last 7 years, we have grown so close and I wouldn't have changed that for the world!! I just love her and her family!

Another year....

another year has gone by.. April 17 was my 24th birthday, and let me tell you, i have learned a lot, and experienced alot about life this past year. i have defiantly grown as a person. which is a good thing. every thing has been great, as from my last post, my relationship is still wonderful, just love him!!, school, is almost over, next week is finals, and work is great as well, month end is here, and i couldn't be happier.

life in general

Life in general. do you ever just stop and think about life? nothing special, just stuff like, how happy you really are, or how school is going, if your in college, or about your job. just stuff like that? i don't know why i am writing about this. i just had an amazing weekend and it got me to thinking. i am really happy. more happy about life than i have been in a looonnnggg time. my current relationship is freakin awesome, my job is great, my 2nd job is great as well, and i am almost finished with school this semester, which is a blessing, because i have wanted to quit so many times. in all i am great! and i am SOOO thankful for it.
